I wanted to remove the paint from the brickwork at the front of my house, and found Cleanpoint Restoration on the Internet.

I have had a huge amount of ‘work’ done in the past year, with very variable experiences, and am always sceptical about the claims made in websites.

However, on meeting Geoff I was immediately impressed by his straightforward, helpful and courteous approach to my problem.

Cleanpoint Restoration’s promise that ‘no job is too small’ was absolutely true – Geoff did a paint stripper test on a smallish patch of painted wall. I couldn’t believe my eyes with the result after the paint was removed.

I gave Geoff the job of removing the paint from the brickwork plus a bit of pointing – but I got the sense that Geoff still cared about doing a good job for me.

He is very much in the style of old-fashioned ‘my word is my bond’ businessmen, which is a rare thing, these days!

He spent time at my house, talking through my options, then gave me very clear prices on the spot, broken down so I could pick-and-mix what I could afford.

Once the work was agreed, Geoff kept me well informed about timing, and stuck to what he promised.

I felt confident I wasn’t being bounced to accommodate more lucrative clients.  When work went ahead, the guys were just great – very clean, swift, thorough workers, careful of my interior as well as exterior, thoughtful about the impacts of their work on my neighbours’ cars, etc, as well as my own.

I really couldn’t fault either their approach or their workmanship and, most importantly, the front of my house now looks lovely – I am absolutely thrilled.

I would have no hesitation recommending Cleanpoint Restoration to my family and friends.
