Building Restoration Project Management
Due to the delicate nature of these types of stone work projects, we work hand in hand with our clients.
Initially we offer dilapidation surveys to ascertain the extent and need of the building restoration project.
From this we produce a schedule of works along with outline method statements and costing for the works involved.
Each individual contract is treated as it should be with samples of restoration and indenting if required to suit surrounding works.
We do not compromise on the materials and labour to ensure the client is 101% happy with the outcome of our work.
Our work force take great pride in the finished product and can adapt mid-works to make sure the finished works are firstly acceptable to ourselves, and only then we would offer this to the client for their inspection.
We are currently applying to become a member of the stone federation of great Britain to add to our list of accreditation’s.

We offer free samples for all of our stone cleaning services and stone restoration services as this can be used to monitor colour and finish on site.
Stone Building Restoration
Sometimes due to cost constraints or the actual nature of the contract it may not be possible to effect a natural stone indent.
Cleanpoint Restoration offers an alternative restoration mortar. Our mortar has been specially formulated by our stone mason team to incorporate crushed natural stone together with appropriate binders and additives to achieve a match as near as reasonably possible with the existing stone, both in colour, texture and strength, while still maintaining the water circuitry of the stone masonry.
Once the area/areas have been identified using hand held masonry tools the loose and defective masonry is cut back until a sound sub strata is achieved.
The aperture will be cut square or undercut so there are no feathered edges.
Should the repair require reinforcement, non-ferrous dowels and wire are introduced to consolidate the repair.
The repair compound is applied to progressively restore forward the decayed or defective stonework in coats of even thickness, this being well tamped around the reinforcement and finished with a wooden float to original line and profile.
